There are a few different ways to make Alpine Lake House Dressing, but the basic ingredients are mayonnaise, sour cream, garlic, onion, and seasonings.

1 cup sugar

⅓ cup vinegar

⅓ cup oil

⅓ cup water

¼ cup grated horseradish

¼ cup prepared mustard

¼ cup chopped fresh chives

Combine sugar, vinegar, oil, water. Boil a few minutes. Add horseradish, mustard, and chives. Remove from heat. Mix well with mixer. Makes 1 pint.
