In a skillet over medoim heat, in hot margarine, cook onion untiltender.
Stir in soup, milk, and pepper.
Heat to boiling, add potatoes.
Reduceheat to low.
Cover; simmer 5 minutes or until hot and bubbling, stirringoccasionally.
garnish with sage if desired.
