Chocolate Pretzels Two Ways Recipe

There are two ways to make chocolate pretzels. The first way is to coat the pretzels in melted chocolate. The second way is to make a chocolate coating for the pretzels.

 2 ts VEGETABLE SHORTENING
 30 ea LARGE PRETZELS, UNSALTED
 6 oz CHOCOLATE CHIPS
 1 x NONPARIELS, MULTICOLORED
 6 oz WHITE CHOCOLATE BARS

IN A SMALL SAUCE PAN, OVER LOW HEAT, STIR IN 1 TEASPOON SHORTENING ANDCHOCOLATE CHIPS UNTIL MELTED.

REMOVE FROM HEAT.

SET ASIDE.

IN A SECONDPAN, PLACE THE WHITE CHOCOLATE BARS AND THE REMAINING SHORTENING.

STIRUNTIL MELTED.

PLACE TWO OR MORE WIRE RACKS ON COOKIE SHEETS.

USING A FORKDIP 15 PRETZELS, ONE AT A TIME, IN EACH CHOCOLATE.

PLACE ON RACKS ANDSPRINKLE WITH NONPAREILS.

PLACE IN REFRIGERATOR FOR 30 MINUTES TO SET THECHOCOLATE.
