There is no one "Christmas Bisquits Recipe." Many families have their own special recipe that has been passed down through the generations. Some recipes are very simple, while others are more elaborate. Some families may even have more than one recipe for Christmas bisquits.
Cream the butter and sugar thoroughly; add the eggs one at a time, beatingwell after each addition.
Dissolve the soda in the cream and add to themixture.
Sift in flour until dough is stiff enough to handle.
Chill overnight.
In the morning, roll out thin on floured board and cut with cookiecutter.
Bake at 350-F about 10 minutes.
