Garlic Mackerel (Irish) Recipe

This is a recipe for a traditional Irish dish called garlic mackerel. It is a simple dish that is made by pan frying mackerel fillets in a garlic butter sauce. The mackerel is then served with boiled potatoes and green beans.

 4 x Large mackerel (or 8 small)
 1 x Butter for frying
 1 x Clove garlic
 1 x Lemon juice
 1 x Seasoned flour

Mince garlic very finelyDivide between the fish and rub in well.

Rollmackerel in beaten egg and then in flour.

Fry in butter for 4-5 minuteseach side.

Sprinkle with lemon juice and serve.
