This is a recipe for a classic dessert that is easy to make and always a hit with kids and adults alike. Peanut butter bars are a simple, no-bake dessert that can be made with just a few ingredients. Peanut butter, sugar, and butter are combined and then pressed into a pan. The bars are then chilled until firm and cut into squares.
MIX MELTED MARGARINE, CRACKER CRUMBS, POWDERED SUGAR AND PEANUT BUTTER.
SPREAD IN A 9 X 13 PAN, PRESSING THE MIXTURE EVEN.
MELT THE CHIPS ANDPOUR OVER THE TOP OF THE PAN.
CHILL 30 MINUTES, CUT INTO BARS, THEN RETURNTO THE REFRIGERATOR.
NOTE: BE SURE TO CUT WITHIN THE FIRST 30 MINUTES ORTHE CHOCOLATE WILL BE TOO HARD TO CUT WELL.
