Gold Medal Flour's Play Dough Recipe is a homemade dough that can be used for playing and modeling. It is made with flour, salt, water, and cream of tartar.
Mix all ingredients in a 1 1/2 quart saucepan.
Cook over medium heat for 4to 5 minutes, stirring vigorously, until dough forms a ball.
Remove frompan and let stand for 5 minutes.
Knead for 30 to 45 seconds or untilsmooth.
Cool completely.
Store in airtight container in refrigerator.
