Roast Chicken Recipe

A roast chicken recipe is a dish consisting of a whole chicken that is roasted in an oven. The chicken is usually roasted with vegetables such as potatoes, carrots, and onions, and is often served with a sauce or gravy.

 1 ea Chicken
 1 ea bread stuffing recipe
 1 x Salt
 1 x Butter
 1 c Sour cream

4 to 5 lb roasting chickenThoroughly clean and wash the chicken.

Rub inside and out with salt andpepper mixed together.

Then rub the inside of the chicken generously withbutter.

Fill with Bread Stuffing.

Place in roasting pan in a hot oven(400-F) and roast about 2 hours, basting about every 15 minutes withspoonfuls of the sour cream.

If a thicker gravy is desired, 1 Tbsp flourcan be added to the liquid in pan after chicken is roasted.
