Salsa de Jitomate is a traditional Mexican salsa made with fresh tomatoes, onions, cilantro, and chili peppers. It is typically served with tortilla chips, on tacos, or as a condiment for other Mexican dishes.
Fry the onions and garlic until limp.
Add remaining ingredients exceptcilantro and cook gently, 15 minutes.
Add cilantro and cook 1-2 minutesmore.
Serve hot or cold.
