A tamale casserole is a dish made with layers of tamales, usually with a meat filling, topped with a sauce or cheese. It is then baked in the oven until the tamales are hot and the sauce is bubbly.
Mix cornmeal, milk and egg in large bowl; set aside.
In skillet,brown meat in oil with onion, tomato and oregano.
Pour off fat andadd olives and cottage cheese; simmer 5 minutes.
Stir into cornmealmix; turn into casserole dish; bake at 350 degrees, 1 hour.
