Turkey Chili Recipe

Turkey chili is a dish made with ground turkey, beans, and chili peppers. It is typically seasoned with cumin, chili powder, and garlic.

 1 lb GROUND TURKEY
 6 oz TOMATO PASTE, LOW SALT
 ½ c CHOPPED ONION
 1 ts CHILI POWDER
 ½ c CHOPPED GREEN PEPPER
 ½ ts OREGANO LEAVES
 1 ea CLOVE GARLIC
 ½ ts GROUND CUMIN
 ¾ c DRIED KIDNEY BEANS, COOKED
  ts GROUND RED PEPPER
 1 c WATER
 30 ea FAT FREE CRACKERS
 3 ea MEDIUM TOMATOES, PEEL, CHOP

IN A LARGE POT BROWN THE TURKEY.

POUR OFF FAT.

ADD ONION, GREEN PEPPER ANDGARLIC.

COOK 2 MINUTES, STIRRING OCCASIONLLY.

ADD BEANS, WATER, TOMATOES,TOMATO PASTE, CHILI POWDER, OREGANO, CUMIN AND RED PEPPER.

COVER.

SIMMERFOR 1 1/2 HOURS, STIRRING OCCASIONALLY.
