Water Chestnut Appetizers Recipe

Water chestnuts, brown sugar, soy sauce, and bacon are used in this simple appetizer recipe to create something special to serve your guests.

 2 whole water chestnuts, drained
 bacon strips (uncooked)
  ketchup
 ½ sugar
 2 Tbsp. soy sauce

Wrap water chestnuts with bacon strips

Fasten with toothpicks

Bake 60 minutes at 300

Combine remaining ingredients to make sauce

Drain off bacon grease and cover appetizers with sauce

Bake another 30 minutes
