?Almond Puff is a recipe that uses puff pastry and almond filling to make a light and fluffy pastry. It is often served as a dessert or snack, and can be made ahead of time and frozen for later use.

 ½ c Butter (or margarine), softened
 1 c Gold Medal flour
 2 tb Water
 ½ c Butter (or margarine)
 1 c Water
 1 ts Almond extract
 1 c Gold Medal flour
 3 Eggs

Chopped nuts Confectioners' Sugar Glaze (below)

Heat oven to 350. Cut 1/2 C. butter into 1 C. flour. Sprinkle 2 tbsp. water over mixture; mix with fork. Round into ball; divide in half. On ungreased baking sheet, pat each half into a strip, 12 by 3 inches. Strips should be about 3 inches apart.
