**Ingredients:1 cup sugar1 cup butter2 eggs1 teaspoon vanilla2 cups flour1 teaspoon baking powderInstructions:1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.2. Cream sugar and butter together.3. THEN STIR INPOWDERED SUGAR, VANILLA, CREAM OF TARTAR AND SALT.

ALTERNATELY ADD OIL ANDFLOUR BEATING UNTIL SMOOTH AND FLUFFY.

REFRIGERATE FOR 2 HOURS.

HEAT OVENTO 350 F.

ROLL ROUNDED TABLESPOONFULS OF DOUGH INTO BALLS.

PLACE TWO INCHES APART ON A LIGHTLY GREASED COOKIE SHEET.

FLATTEN EACH COOKIE WITH THE BOTTOM OF A GLASS THAT HAS BEEN LIGHTLY OILED AND SUGARED.
