Beef Jerky Recipe

There are many recipes for beef jerky, but most involve marinating the beef in a mixture of soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and other spices, then drying it in a dehydrator or oven.

 1 Flank steak
 4 tb Lemon juice
 1 Clove garlic, minced
 ½ c Soy sauce
 ½ c Honey
 1 ds Salt
 1 ds Pepper

Put steak in freezer for about half an hour, just until firm.

Slice steakacross grain, about 1/4-inch thick.

Combine remaining ingredients andmarinate steak strips in this for at least 2 hours.

Place slices on rackin pan and dry in oven at 150 degrees, 12 hours.

Makes 1 batch.
