BEAT THE EGG WHITES TILL STIFF.

CREAM THE SHORTENINGADD THE SUGARS AND BEAT AGAIN.

STIR IN WELL BEATEN EGG YOLKS.

SIFTFLOUR WITH THE BAKING POWDER AND ADD ALTERNATELY WITH MILK TO THESUGARS.
