There are many different recipes for fudge, but most contain some combination of sugar, chocolate, butter, and milk.
Cut the chocolate in small pieces and cook with the brown and granulatedsugar, the condensed milk and the corn syrup.
Stir until the sugar isdissolved.
Then cook, stirring occasionally, until the fudge forms a softball when dropped in cold water.
Remove from the fire, add the butter andlet stand until it is cool.
Then beat until it begins to lose its glossyappearance.
Add the vanilla and the nuts, pour on a greased pan and allowto cool.
Cut in squares.
