1 pound beef meat, sliced
4 green onions, cut into 2" lengths
1 tablespoon ginger, shredded
½ teaspoon minced garlicr
4 ounces water chestnuts, sliced
¼ cup onion, shredded
¼ teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
1 teaspoon sugar
¼ teaspoon gourmet powder (M.S.G.)
1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
few drops sesame seed oil
⅓ cup water
1 1/2 tablespoons Wonder Powder (very fine white tapioca powder)
1 tablespoon Chinese cooking wine
1Marinate beef with 1 teaspoon Wonder Powder, 2 tablespoons light soy sauce, 1 tablespoon cooking wine and drops of sesame oil.
2Heat wok, brown green onions, garlic, onion, and ginger.
3Add beef and saute until meat changes color.
4Add sauce and bring to a boil.
5Transfer to a heat-proof casserole.
6Heat casserole until sauce comes to a boil.
7Serve from the casserole while sauce is still bubbling.
