A Hot Dog Provencale is a hot dog smothered in a Provencal-style sauce. The sauce is typically made with tomatoes, garlic, olives, and herbs.
8 x Hot dog
8 oz Tomato
8 Bacon, slices
½ ts Salt
1 c Onion, minced
1 ds Pepper
1 Garlic, minced, clove

Fry bacon, onion and garlic until bacon is crisp.

Drain most of bacon fat.

Stir in tomatoes, salt and pepper.

Heat to a boil, reduce heat and simmerabout 10 minutes.

Add hot dogs; cover and simmer about 15 min.
