Moravian White Christmas Cookies are a traditional recipe from the Moravian region of Germany. They are made with a light and fluffy dough that is rolled out thin and cut into small, delicate shapes. The cookies are then baked until they are crisp and lightly golden in color.

 2 c Butter
 3 c Sugar
 5 ea Egg, well beaten
 1 c Cream
 1 ts Soda
 1 x dissolved in:
 ¼ c Water, boiling
 4 c Flour

Cream butter and sugar together until well blended.

Beat the eggs and add.

Stir in the dissolved soda.

Sift the flour and add alternately with thecream.

Mix thoroughly.

Dough must be stiff enough to roll- add more flourif needed.

Chill for several hours.

Roll out thin on floured board and cutwith fancy cookie cutters.

Bake at 350-F about 12 minutes.
