Peanut butter brownies are a type of brownie that contains peanut butter in the batter. Peanut butter brownies are usually made with chocolate chips and may also contain nuts.

 ¾ c Butter
 1 c Flour
 4 oz Unsweetened chocolate
 1 ts Vanilla
 2 c Sugar
 ½ ts Salt

PEANUT-BUTTER BATTER1/2 cCreamy peanut butter1 ts Baking powder3 tb Butter1 ts Vanilla3/4 cSugar2Eggs3/4 cFlour3/4 cSalted peanuts, chopped 1.

Preheat oven to 350 deg f.

Grease a 9 x 13 metal baking pan.

Prepare chocolate batter: In a heavy 3 quart sauce pan, over low heat,heat butter and chocolate until melted and smooth, stirring frequently.

Remove pan from heat.

With a wooden spoon beat in sugar and eggs untilwell blended.

Stir in flour, vanilla, and salt; set aside.

Prepare peanut butter batter: In a large bowl, with mixer on mediumspeed, beat peanut butter and butter until blended.

Add sugar, flour,baking powder, vanilla, salt, and eggs.

Beat well.

Spoon peanut butter batter by heaping tablespoons into baking pan.

Pourchocolate batter over the top, spreading evenly with spatula.

With aknife, cut ands twist through batters to obtain a marble effect.

Sprinklewith chopped nuts.

Bake 45 minutes or until toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean.

Cool on wire rack, in baing pan.

When cool, cut into 4 strips (lengthwise) and 6 strips (crosswise) tomake 24 servings.
