Kale With Cream (Irish) Recipe

This recipe is for a traditional Irish dish called kale with cream. It is a simple dish made with kale, potatoes, and cream. It is usually served with boiled eggs and bacon.

 1 3/4 lb Kale
 1 x Pn nutmeg, salt, pepper
 2 tb Butter
 2 tb Stock
 2 tb Double cream

Wash the kale and strip the leaves from the stalks, then plunge intobriskly boiling salted water and cook until tender, 20-30 minutes.

Drainwell and chop finely.

In a saucepan combine the butter, cream and pinchesof nutmeg, salt and pepper;then add the kale and the stock.

Mix welland cook until well heated and the sauce is slightly reduced.
