Osh Pyozee (Stuffed Onions) Recipe

?Osh Pyozee is a popular Uzbek dish that consists of large onions that are stuffed with a variety of fillings, including meat, rice, and vegetables. The onions are then slow-cooked until they are tender and the filling is cooked through.

  -peeled
 4 c Water
 1 ts Salt
 ½ lb Ground beef
 3 tb Raw rice, rinsed, cooked until very soft, drained,
 1 ts Salt
 ¼ ts Pepper
 ¼ ts Ground cuminseed
 10 md Pitted prunes, cut lengthwise into halves
 2 tb Corn oil
