Steamed Pork with Preserved Tianjin Vegetable is a dish made with pork and preserved vegetables. The pork is steamed until it is cooked through and the vegetables are cooked in a wok with oil.
MARINADE:1 1/2 ts dark soy sauce1/2 ts sesame oil1/2 ts sugar1 ts cornstarch1/2 ts salt Preparation:Mix marinade.
In bowl, mix chopped pork, water chestnuts,1/2 preserved vegetable,
Spread mixture on round 12 plate.
Sprinkle with remainingpreserved vegetable.
Refrigerate if working in advance.
Steaming:Bring pork mixture to room temperature before steaming.
Bringwater in steamer to rapid boil.
Steam for about 20 minutes.
Sprinklewith chopped onions just before serving.
